Madeline Lorrimae Holt came crashing into this world November 1, 2012 at 7:01 PM weighing 2lb 3oz. Born 12 weeks premature she was a miracle from the moment she arrived.
Before Maddie's passing we had begun participating in races where we would push her in her wheelchair. All of these races support various charities. Now that she is no longer with us we do these races in her honor. These are the races we have participated in:
2020 StarWars Virtual Half-Marathon
2020 Summer Series Virtual Challenge
2021 Disney Princess Half-Marathon
2021 Wine & Dine 10k
2022 Summer Series Virtual Challenge
To ensure her legacy of love, light, and magic continues we decided to start a 501(c)3 in Maddie's name. With a simple mission of giving back to those in our community who are often overlooked. Through random acts of kindness, participating in awareness events, and helping families and businesses that support children like Maddie, we know we can keep her legacy alive for generations to come.
During the COVID19 Pandemic there was shortage of surgical masks. Our family handmade and donated over 200 surgical masks to medically complex children.
Maddie passed away 8 days before her 8th birthday. We decided to donate all of her gifts on her birthday to the Seattle Children's Cancer & Blood Disorder Center where she received her blood transfusions.
Our largest legacy donation was sponsoring a 50 year old cerebral palsy patient with a 4 day all expenses paid trip to Disney World.
In honor of Maddie's love for art we are holding an ongoing Charity Art auction. All of the items are available in our store. 100% of the proceeds from these purchases is donated to Seattle Children's Hospital Palliative Care Team & The Princess Program Foundation.
